Julie Salmon exceeded the standard of my best-case scenario for selling our home. We decided to work out of a second office we rent in Los Angeles during the time the house was on the market, ensuring that it would be kept in top shape with easy access to realtors and their clients at all hours. However, the season was winter; snowy conditions were frequent and accompanied by the mess of the aftermath. Darkness ruled the majority of hours of the day, engulfing the empty house. We were not present to sweep, turn on the lights, or make sure the water pipes did not burst, but Julie was! Everyday, twice a day, over a two month period, Julie was at our home, taking care of it as if it were her own. The amount of time and care she put into it – always without complaint -- went far beyond the requirements of a realtor/client relationship. I cannot imagine the fate the house would have endured without her assistance. Between the time the house went on the market at an asking price that mirrored its official home appraisal just two years earlier and its ultimate sale, the market dropped dramatically. After two offer-less weeks Julie suggested that we lower the asking price to a figure that seemed more consonant with recent contracts in the neighborhood. Her suggestion was straightforward and unwavering, based on an analysis of the diving economy and its impact on real estate in the community. I swallowed the fantasy of the dollars I might have had in a better market and took her advice. The first offer followed and a contract was negotiated soon thereafter. Julie’s involvement did not stop with the offer and acceptance. She called me almost everyday with updates both from the buyer’s broker and the lawyer. I was still out of town, and she still insisted on doing whatever she could to help. When we returned, she was out on the street with us, shopping around for a rental property which she found and negotiated. From the perspective of someone who has bought and sold a number of properties and experienced a wide range of realtor services, Julie was a 10+ on a scale of 1 to 10. I would recommend her to anyone seeking to buy or sell a home.

Working With An Agent >Real Estate Finesse
Many changes can occur in a real estate transaction between the initial meeting of the minds and the completion of the sale. This is where having a professional to handle the sale of your home makes a big difference.
Real estate professionals view such changes as challenges, rather than problems. Many potential problems are predictable, but their consequences can be minimized by anticipating them. Real estate agents draw on their experience and the experience of their colleagues to ensure a successful closing for the buyers and sellers. When disputes arise, our expertise helps to create a win-win situation. This approach to selling real estate makes the difference for my buyers and sellers. I go the extra mile to handle the countless details and to keep my buyers and sellers informed at each step of the transaction.
